Educational Visits

We offer educational talks for Pre Schools, Nurseries, Primary Schools, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Rainbows, Youth Clubs in the Cheshire and north Wales area. We are CRB Checked (copy can be seen here) we are also fully insured (a copy of our insurance can be seen here) We are able to visit, along with a selection of Reptiles, Mammals & Inverts to cover the following topics...

The topics listed above are suited to Key Stages 2 and 3, and can be adapted to suit your individual requirements. The workshops we present are not shows, no Animal, Insect, or Reptile are trained to perform.

For Nursery Shows - We will with each type off animal Explain the following;-

What it feeds on
Where and when it sleeps
we also cover texture, pattern and colour variations

Every session is unique and is both educational & entertaining. An exciting hands on experience with species they would not normally get chance to meet. We do ask that there be a maximum number of 30 persons per session, although smaller groups are preferable. This is to ensure that it is beneficial to all those participating.

Tired of trying to find something different for your children's birthday party?

Well we have an answer that is Exciting, Fun, & Educational all in one package a

Reptile party

The Party Includes Invitations, Assorted Animal Guests (60 min presentation), A Bravery Certificate & Souvenir Gift for The Birthday Girl Or Boy Plus Full Insurance.

we will visit your choice of venue; be it your home, a village hall, a school wherever you choose,

along with a selection of our Exotic Insects

and Reptiles

The birthday boy or girl will become a special helper (where suitable) & help me introduce

the "Party Animals" to their guests.

Please note that these parties are suitable

for children aged 3 +.

Whilst the animals are being introduced I will explain all about them, their habitats, diet, and their needs, offering a fun, informative and entertaining presentation.

Each visit lasts approx an hour with extensions available if required.

I ensure by the end of the presentation every guest will have had the opportunity to hold an animal/insect/reptile.

I recommend for ages 3 -6 an hour party is sufficient and party group sizes should be limited to 15, any more than this and their concentration span is limited due to the excitement and all the goings on around them. For older children and larger groups

(15 guests +) parties of 90 minutes duration are easily catered for.

All that is needed is a plug socket for a small heat mat and hand washing facilities,

It is the parent's or supervising adults responsibility to ensure this at the end of the presentation.

Our prices Start at £80.00 for a 1Hr Event at your home or small hall (up to 25 Children) or £120 for larger halls (Weddings/Christenings Etc).

A DEPOSIT OF £25.00 IS REQUIRED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF BOOKING TO CONFIRM YOUR PARTY WHICH IS NON REFUNDABLE.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR REDUCED RATES AS A REFUSAL OFTEN OFFENDS. I OFFER A FIRST CLASS SERVICE AND IN MY HONEST OPINION,

Normal Visit ( 1 Hour) £90.00

(1 x 60 min or 2 x 30 min - per additional hour £40.00)

Full Day ( 9 - 3pm) £150.00

(max of 4 x 60 mins or 8 x 30 mins)
